YOUR MENSWEAR RESOLUTION:: WEAR MORE FLORAL

The other day I was daydreaming about the usual things; aliens, coffee, books, graduation and men in nice clothing. My mind wandered to the latter and all of the sudden my brain was overcome by more well dressed men than one girl can handle. But there was one thing that these men were missing, one pattern that my little single heart still skips a beat over- floral.

floralI can hear you now “GABRIELA THAT IS SO 2013” and this will be my replyFLORAL

Florals aren’t a trend- the way they’re presented on clothing may be, but floral ISN’T GROUNDBREAKING AND IT WILL NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE! And I will never stop loving how men look in floral. I don’t care if Gucci did floral in 2013 or if Dries Van Noten in 2014.  You don’t have to wear head to toe floral to feel #floralgoth, but injecting your wardrobe with a bit of floral can help you spice things up and make your closet BLOOM.

The biggest question is always WHERE CAN I GET SUCH BEAUTIFUL FLORAL! And even if it’s not your first question, I’m sure you’ve asked it. Click on the photos below to directly shop the beautiful, fresh flowers I have picked for you (get it?)

Topman

Topman is the best website/store/haven for simple silhouettes that pack a punch. If you’re looking for some hints of floral, you can buy a tee with a black collar or seems. If you’re more into the inconspicuous art of floral, you can always grab some boxers or boxer briefs. If you’re feeling dapper, how about a skinny suit with a floral tie?! The options are endless, my guy.

ASOS

If you haven’t met Asos– you should. If bold, bright floral on black backgrounds are your thing then Asos is definitely a good resource. Prices are cheap and  whether you’re going for some shorts, a bow tie or a backpack, you can find something to add just the right amount of floral to your look.

Okay so now you know two cool places to shop…but what are you suppose to buy? Here  are two of my favorite trends.

FLORAL GOTH

Honestly how could you  not expect me to put a section for my favorite floral trend?! Pair a deep floral with a some black joggers, a pair of dark wash jeans or even some leather pants and BAM. Yeezy  would be proud. Also- how incredible are these floral ties?!? I want one!

OK

Last but not least, my favorite menswear trend of all! I love a good button down and I am an even bigger advocate for floral button downs. Wear them with literally whatever the hell you want (extra points for a mun), maybe carry a dog, and you will feel like a king. Promise.  Check out Esquire HERE for 20 floral shirts you definitely need.

Hope this helps all my men!
Cheers,
Gabriela

STOP THE FLOP

It has come to my attention that some of my male friends, and some of the male population of Earth, think that it’s chill to wear ye old flip flop. Oh my god can you please just NOT. Slide2

I know they may seem practical, or comfortable or like “”a good choice”” but rest assured, I’m here to tell you that’s a LIE. I don’t want to see your hairy toes!! Also- they don’t match your outfit, and that’s a promise. There are five instances in which it is apporpriate to wear flip flops. 1- If you are taking your dog out. 2- If you are at sleepaway camp. 3- If you are in a shower. 4- If you are at the beach. 5- If you are at a pool. What does this not include? Day to day activities. Why not? BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER SHOES FOR YOU TO WEAR MEN, DEAR LORD. SO- here are five other shoes that are just as easy to wear as flip flops, but won’t make you look lazy and like you don’t know how to dress well. PS- click through the labeled photos to shop XO.

1

Slide5“Oh, I don’t like actually lacing up shoes or putting effort into my shoes” Men- this is no longer an excuse. The Beatles wore em, men of Britain wear em and I promise you, if you invest in a pair of Chelsea Boots women will love it oh and so will you! You’ll look dapper in with minimal effort. Pair em with your darkest wash jeans, a simple tee shirt and a leather jacket and you’re solid.

2

Slide3Maybe you’re too “nonchalant” for Chelsea Boots, that’s chill. Wear some damn Vans then. You don’t even have to get the kind that lace, although they tend to look sexier and less 2009 than their checkered slip-on alternatives. But again- Vans are more comfortable, look better and require just as little effort as your damn flops. Also- look at these guys. They’re literally wearing a tee shirt and jeans and look 100 times better than any man in flops. Jeez.

3

Slide4

Dr. Martens are a classic and they look good on everyone. Seriously, you can get a canvas pair or a leather pair, a thick or thin soled pair. If they’re good enough for punks, they’re good enough for you. Dress em up or down, your choice. If you’re worried about your feet getting sweaty, it’s a sacrifice that will be worth it when you see how good you look.

4

5

Slide6Again this goes out to all my minimal effort men. Have you ever stuck your foot  in a loafer or a slip-on sneaker? Probably not, or you wouldn’t be wearing your flip flops. These things literally feel like you’re wearing a slipper. And you’ll look good, almost like royalty. Seriously though, you can get these at Zara or Target or pretty much anywhere that you know, sells real shoes, and they don’t have to be expensive. You literally don’t even have to put something between your toes like a thong- and you’ll look dapper.

So men, dear men, dear men who I love, please please PLEASE.
JUST STOP THE FLOP.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

XOXO
Gabriela

The Topman/ Zara Man Edit

It’s officially what I like to call the “fall man harvest”. It’s the best time of the year, when beanie wearing, sweater clad men crawl out of their manholes and into coffee houses and local costume shops. The man harvest is the time when menswear is king and I am a sweet, sweet plebeian, happy to adore from a comfortable distance. The colder weather means that layers are key, and even though I appreciate a good short short on a man, I appreciate a nice pair of boots and a beanie even more.

This season, i’m inspired by oversize silhouettes and knits, 60’s and 70’s style and of course, Zara Man and Topman. These two stores are my go-to for all sorts of male fashion advice. The wearable pieces still have a clean, edgy aesthetic that can work for almost any man who knows their own style. I’ve gathered some inspiration from both stores and pieced together some looks from them as for endless amounts of inspiration.

men monday

I’m all about a bigger, looser silhouette complimented by a fitted one; think, oversize turtlenecks and super skinny jeans. Pair the look with an oversize coat and there’s a sort of effortless “I’m drowning in my clothes but still look super cool” vibe that I just can’t get enough of this fall. Reach for sleek accessories, like these boots and vintage inspired watch. The last piece of puzzle is the patterned sock, which grounds the whole look and adds some color.
Man 2

For a more colorful and casual take on the turtleneck, layer everything. Grab a plaid scarf and some brogues, an updated vintage style watch and your trustee jacket. Invest in some good outerwear and a couple pairs of good shoes and buy accessories that you can mix and match for a cozy cool look.

A Menswear Monday Birthday: 65

I’m all about birthdays. I’m a naturally excited person and if there’s a reason to celebrate, I celebrate. Birthdays are no exception. Today, the most important man in my life, my dad, turns 65. October 13, 1949 my amazing father was born and the world hasn’t been the same since. Let me tell you a little about my dad.

1My dad’s one of those bright and loving souls that you’re drawn to as soon as you meet. He’s definitely a Libra because besides being loving, wise, and comforting, he’s also very just and very loyal. My dad’s a rabbi and recently it’s really hit me how many lives hes touched. My dad’s everything from a mentor and counselor to a teacher and a friend. He’s a pillar in the community and it’s really humbling to realize how many people recognize just how amazing he is.

10710815_10152313362426207_7190006652490922770_nPapi Herstik has been there for my sister and I through thick and thin. He’s always the first to encourage me, always the first to tell me I can do whatever I put my mind to. I grew up in an incredibly loving and affectionate household and there has never been a day where “I love you” hasn’t been exchanged. Whether I want to talk about religion, life or fashion, my dad is always there to listen to me. My dad has always been the one to tell me that it’s okay, that life will be better tomorrow. I’m a persistent, albeit stubborn at times, and my dads own persistence in everything he does has definitely contributed to this. My dad always has the best intentions and that’s a trait that more people should have. 2My dad is the ultimate menswear inspiration. Look at him! He looks great for 65, even though he’s been bald for decades. I’m so thankful that he and my mom have taught my sister and I to take pride in who we are, in every facet. My dad can rock a pair of oxfords like nobodies business and he can carry my pup while doing it.3My dad was born to Holocaust survivors. Both my Grandma Rose and Grandpa Harry survived upwards of three years in concentration camps. Birthdays are especially important to celebrate when the odds seemed against you. The fact that my dad was born is pretty amazing. The fact that my dad is such a wonderful, beautiful, compassionate, persistent and kind soul is even more amazing. My dad is working in St.Thomas for the year so I wasn’t able to spend time with him and I wish I could have.

Papi, I love you. Thank you for being the best dad I could ever ask for.

Happy birthday, bald eagle.

Menswear Monday: Mani and the Moon

Monday’s are the best; a new start to a new week that’s chock full of endless possibility. Monday’s are also ruled by the moon; a powerhouse vessel of intuition, dreams, higher powers, that’s honored and represented by a long list of deities.

Each chapter in Blood Moon is associated with a phase of the moon. A pic - like these - will appear under the chapter number and heading.

For today’s menswear post, I’m taking inspiration from Mani, a Norse god of the moon, and the brother of the god of the sun, Sol. Mani is said to ride across the sky in a horse drawn chariot, followed through his trek by a wolf; when the wolf approaches too closely, a lunar eclipse takes place. He is nephew of the night, and is said to travel around with two children, a boy and a girl named Hjuki and Bil. The children were sent to the moon as punishment after Mani caught them messing with his reflection in a well. Hjuki and Bill  play around on the moon and form the spots and craters we see. Mani is said to protect those who are dealing with emotional pain, he is even said to be a patron to neglected children since some stories claim Hjuki and Bill were neglected.

There is not much information about Mani, and I hadn’t heard of,him prior to this post. I’m all for horses, wolves and I love the Norse pantheon (not to mention the moon), so I’m excited to learn more and work with this deity. For now, take inspiration from him. Think of how important the moon is in a universal sense and to the fact that it controls our tides and crops. Think of what the moon represents; duality, a light in the darkness, connection to dreams, nightmares, and one’s own power and intuition.

Now think about how you can incorporate this into your wardrobe. The metal that corresponds to the moon is silver; dress in black, whites and blues and wear silver to help align you to the the energies that are present. Wear pieces that fuel your passion for mystery, whether that’s a leather jacket, a nice watch or a monocle.

Inspired by Mani

On this Monday, find your own sense of Mani by wearing patterns that mirror the moon’s rough surface. Dress in all black; the color of power and the night. Wear a watch that has a face like the moon, and take note of any little sparks of inspiration or  any moments of intuitive clarity in a notebook just for you.

What inspires you when the moon is full?

Happy Monday,

Gabriela

The Men of the Oscars

I’m not one to goo over red carpet fashions. Although I do love seeing what gowns were worn, for some reason I’m not drawn to award shows. I’m not a huge fan of diamonds, although I like black diamonds a lot, and I’m not one to don delicate jewelry. I think I like day to day fashion or runway shows because I believe every day is a good day to get dressed up; I  like the intricacies of picking out what to wear for day to day life.

The Oscars seem to be the exception to this. Obviously, it’s the biggest show of the year, and it’s the only one I actually care about. Although I love seeing what the women wear, I also adore seeing what the men wear. So today, I bring to you the men of the Oscars and what they wore. You’re welcome.

Zac Efron, in Calvin Klein Collection.

Zac Efron looks dapper as ever in this Calvin Klein Collection skinny suit. Classic, elegant, perfectly tailored and exactly what you would expect from Efron. He’s definitely easy on the eyes.

Kevin Spacey, in Burberry.

Kevin Spacey looks dashing in this Burberry Suit. I love a good suit in a blue, and this navy shade hints more on the side of royal blue. The perfect black pointed lapel is paired with a black satin bow tie and is accented by his black watch. I love this look; ageless, appropriate and simple.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt, in Calvin Klein Collection.

Is there anyone who’s a bigger heartthrob than Joseph Gordon-Levitt? Like Effron, he decided to don a Calvin Klein Collection look, and there are no words to describe how perfect he looks except the word perfect. A true gentleman, Gordon Levitt looks impeccable with this satin lapel skinny suit which is accented by the daintiest of red pins. Well done, sir, well done.

Leonardo DiCaprio, in Giorgio Armani.

Leonardo DiCaprio looks absolutely gorgeous in this Giorgio Armani suit. I love the visible buttons, the wider satin lapel, the bow tie and the perfect pocket scarf. Come on, men! A pocket scarf or tie clip can work wonders. Although DiCaprio didn’t win an Oscar for his role in Wolf of Wall Street, he won one in my heart for being the biggest babe alive. Also, go Leo for rocking that hair! Ugh, so good Leo, so good.

Jared Leto, in Saint Laurent, with Harry Winston jewels.

Jared Leto in Saint Laurent was probably the standout for me as far as men go. I love seeing men take risks with fashion (I use that term relatively because every man looks good in a suit) and honestly I think Leto was the biggest risk taker last night. Leto’s ombred locks pair perfectly with his tri-tone suit; the white dress shirt actually pairs well with the cream suit jacket and black pants. I love the bow tie and pocket scarf and how they add another dimension to the look while seamlessly pulling it all together. Leto is such a talented human being, and I think he is ravishing in this look.

Matthew McConaughey, in Dolce & Gabbana, and Camila Alves, in Gabriela Cadena, with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Matthew McConaughey is also looking absolutely ravishing in this Dolce & Gabbana look. The tri-tone suit is modern and young, while still maintaining an Oscar Worthy appearance. I absolutely love the black buttons on his dress shirt and I love how he paired the black vest with the look. Absolutely wonderful (even though Leo probably doesn’t think so)

Martin Scorsese, in Giorgio Armani.

I think Martin Scorsese looks absolutely adorable in this Giorgio Armani suit. Classic, and so well paired with his thick rimmed glasses! He looks so much like Mr.Fredricksen (the old man) from Up! I love it!

Ellen DeGeneres, in Saint Laurent.

I know Ellen is not a man, but I just wanted to throw her in here to show that anyone and everyone can look good in a suit. She was brilliant last night AND she broke twitter… as if she couldn’t have been any cooler. She looks amazing in this Saint Laurent piece.

Defining a Death King

It’s never an easy task to truly define something that’s not necessarily concrete. I defined a Death Queen last week in my weekly blog post for Garnet and Black Magazine, which you can find HERE, so I thought I should also define her male counterpart.

Death King II

There is a certain tenderness that arises with consciousness of this life, of the next and of the energies in-between. Almost like a stepping stone, this awareness stems from awakening the unconscious and thinning the veil between this world and the next while doing so. A Death King does not necessarily have to be extremely aware of song of the universe, but he knows it is in his best interest to at least stop and hear its hum. A Death King knows that the mind is the most powerful thing in the world, and he uses it to his advantage.

A Death King knows what he wants and knows how to get there; he is aware of the power that resides in his core and he knows the means in which to manifest it. The Death King understands there is power in positivity and in helping another, and he doesn’t use his awareness as a means of pushing someone else down to climb to the top. He cloaks himself in only that which serves him, whether it’s all black or love and courage.

Just like a Death Queen has a penchant for black, so does the Death King. Since he is acutely aware of the power in presentation, the Death King has no problem in dressing himself in the darkest of shades as a means to repel negativity and feel powerful while doing so. A Death King wears what he wants to wear because he wants to wear it; he is unaffected by others opinions of him because he realizes his own opinion is the only which truly holds weight.

Death King

A Death King is a man versed in life and in his own beliefs. He believes in himself and the unyielding power and potential which resides within him. More than anything else, he realizes this can manifest in every facet of his life… especially in his style.

Macabre Menswear Monday: Five Pieces Every Death King Should Own

If you live in the South, it’s that time of year where the weather fluctuates like crazy and leaves people sick and horribly confused as to what they should wear. Well my dear gentlemen, I am here to help you out. There are five pieces you should have in your closet to help make the process of actually getting dressed, and looking good, easy as pie.

Death King

1. A Nice Pair of Brogues or Combat Boots

It’s funny, I just wrote a blog post about five pieces every Death Queen should own, and it’s probably going to be very similar to this one. A nice pair of combat boots, or brogues, are seriously the perfect effortless, but put together, shoe. They’re comfortable, they look perfect paired with cut offs or cuffed jeans, and they are sturdy. Throw on a vintage tank top or short sleeve button up and you may as well call yourself my hubby (you’ll be looking that ace)

2. A Leather Jacket

Please don’t call yourself a Death King if this staple is missing from your wardrobe. You are so not punk if you don’t have a leather jacket (lol). Grab a biker style or a windbreaker style, depending on your aesthetic, pair it with your combat boots and BOOM, you’re good to go.

3. A Well Tailored Suit

So maybe you’re not all for the skinny suit, and maybe you’re not all for the classic suit. That’s okay. As long as you have one suit that fits properly, you’re good to go. Want a more modern take? Buy a color besides black; gray, maroon, even blue. You’ll be getting all the best looks. Also check THIS link about the “28 Rules of Wearing a Suit” out!

4. A Vintage Flannel Shirt

I realized I have never paid full price for a flannel shirt, and I have made this a life rule. I urge you to do the same. Hit up the local thrift store or Goodwill and find yourself a vintage flannel. Wear it with a loose tank and some skinny jeans or tied around your waist with a muscle tank and some cut offs. There’s a million ways to wear a flannel and I love it. Want to mix it with another pattern? Just make sure there’s at least one of the same colors in both patterns and you’ll be good.

5. A Straight Cut Pair of Dark-wash Jeans

i’m not talking about girl skinny jeans, I’m talking about jeans that hit at the natural waist and are straight down the entire way, creating long lean legs. They’re pretty much a universal leg lengthener and will really bring together your wardrobe.

Death King Essentials

The key to dressing well when the seasons are so crazy is layering. Put on your jeans, combat boots, a tank top, a leather jacket and tie your flannel around your waist. Get cold? Untie your flannel, take of your leather jacket, slip your arms in the flannel and BOOM. Also, I understand that you may not be wearing a nice suit in the dead of “winter” in South Carolina but come on, you need a nice suit. That’s a thing.

Namaste,

Gabriela Lorraine

Menswear Monday; Zachary Kent Adauto

Happy Monday, one and all! I haven’t featured a man for Menswear Monday in a good bit, so I decided to feature one of my best friends, and my fashion prodigy, Zack. It’s interesting how people who you don’t expect to be relevant in your life become relevant later on down the road. Zack and I would see each other at local shows all the time about three years ago, but it wasn’t until about a year and a half ago, the summer before my freshman year at college, that we truly became friends and started hanging out. Fast forward to present day and Zack is truly one of my best guy friends. Besides having a great sense of style, Zack has a spastic and happy personality, and even though he may not seem like it, he has a soft and beautiful heart. Zack loves telling people I am responsible for his sense style, and although I have helped style him on occasion, I think he needs to give himself some more credit.

If more men dressed like Zack, then I would be a very happy girl

No. 21 Fall 2014 Menswear Collection Review

Ahh, Menswear Fashion Week, How brilliantly you sparkle and how freshly you polish my heart. A smile never ceases to form on the edges of my lips as my eyes hungrily scurry across Style.com at all the well dressed gentlemen. I’m tempted to make a little scrapbook of all my favorite looks and collections so I never forget them, maybe I’ll just find a random boy to dress in all the latest trends..we shall see.

I’m still learning the ins and outs of the wonderful world of menswear, so I always find new houses and designers I’m not familiar with. No. 21 is one of said houses. Just like Guillaume Henry manages to create pieces that are both high fashion, easy, and wearable for Carven, Alessandro Dell’Acqua does the same for No. 21. Tartan sweaters, leather jackets, pleated dress pants and neoprene sweatshirts and jackets all layer perfectly to immaculately dress every  model who’s sent down the runway. Appropriately enough, there are, you guessed it, 21 looks in this collection. Layers are key, once again, for this jewel tone modern rendition of a somewhat classic urban style. Think modern German boarding school for this collection; peeks of collars under striped and cable knit sweaters, cropped dress pants and leather platform boots. Each layer and detail, from the leather soled boots to the perfectly mismatched patterns, all elevate this from a basic men’s look. The perfect burnt orange compliments all the navy, burgundy and gray, and patterns used as accents, such as stripes and tartans once more, all weave these colors together. Furs and shags all add yet another dimension to this collection, and paired with a slick side parted do for all the models, there is no doubt this collection is definitely up any menswear fanatics ally.

Macabre Monday: Death Kings Hate Sun

I arrived in Florida yesterday afternoon and when I sat down to blog today I realized that I’m leaving out a huge demographic of death king trendy men in my blog posts; those who (sadly) live in warm weather at this time of year! Hey! It’s not your fault you live in Florida, or maybe it is, but either way, I should still be able to help you with what to wear! So, today’s blog post is a mini shopping guide for those fellas who get the pleasure of 75 degree weather at this time of year! Click the image for links to all the clothing online if you’re far from a mall, or are just lazy and want to shop online (I won’t judge, I promise)

Topman

Did anyone really expect anything less than Topman?! Again, if you’re in NY you have to go.. it’s not a question. If you’re not in NY, you can shop online or head to Nordstrom and pick up some pieces. Here, I styled some jeans with a tee shirt with leather sleeves, a beanie, some slip on boots, a backpack, and a bomber style jacket.
Forever 21 men
Definitely a cult classic, Forever 21 is a go to place if the option is available. They don’t always have menswear, but if they do, grab a floral short sleeve button up, some straight cut jeans, combat boots, a windbreaker style jacket, a snazzy watch and a beanie and you’ll be good to go.
Nordstrom

Nordstrom is a hub for all the death king essentials you’ll need. Like I mentioned before, they sell Topman which is ace if you’re like me and only live in NYC in your mind. Grab a cool tee shirt, some jeans, a nice briefcase and a motorcycle style leather jacket and you’ll be looking as dapper as death himself.

J Crew

Last but not least is J Crew. This last store isn’t so much “death king” but like anywhere, you can make it work with a little creativity. Button up short sleeves are always in style, and paired with this cardigan from J Crew’s collaboration with Comme Des Garcon, you got a death king match made in hell. I love these work boots and they play very well together with a pair of dark wash jeans. Snatch up some leather protector and you’ll be set for the best and most stylish “winter” of this life.

Also check out Gap, Banana Republic, H&M, Aldo, Pac Sun and Urban Outfitters.

Hope that helped, death kings!

Alexander Wang Fall 2013 Collection Review

I’ve been on a death king/macabre Monday/ all black everyday binge this past…lifetime.. and I am not about to stop now. Alexander Wang has risen and risen and risen in my book of favorite designers. This once up and coming designer is now a household name and he deserves it; i mean, even Yeezus recognizes how great he is. Wang’s Fall 2014 menswear collection is dark, haunting, urban and avant-garde. Oversize cowl necks, hoods and ankle skimming cropped pants all form together to create the perfect death king equation. The mostly monochromatic color scheme works with the punk style aesthetic that Wang seemed to be aiming for in everything from cut, silhouette and crop to models. Oversize shirts and sweaters in simple gray and black patterns pair well with a straight cropped slack and the perfect black leather work boot. The textures in this collection also work together to help create some variety and interest in an incredibly cohesive collection; suede, cotton, leather, denim and even velvet, all make an appearance. This collection is for the man who knows how to stand his ground. This collection is for the man who knows that holds his power and his strength in his own hands. It takes a certain type of sensibility to wear clothes in colors that manage to mute you, but to still be able to hold your own. There comes a certain type of  freedom that becomes ingrained in you when you let go of others expectations for the way you conduct and dress yourself. It is liberating to wear what you want to wear and dress how you want to dress; even if it’s in all black. This collection is for the man who knows he couldn’t blend in if he tried.

Hope you have a well dressed macabre Monday

Macabre Monday: What to Get Your Death King for the Holidays

It’s everyone’s favorite time of year; the holiday season is in full swing. It’s already halfway through Hanukkah (Happy Hannukah to any of my readers who are celebrating along with my family) and now it’s officially December! It’s officially time to start thinking about what to get your loved ones and what to wear for New Years and where to go for Chinese food on Christmas (for the Jews at least…). I’ve put together a little gift guide for the death king in your life (or like me, the imaginary death king in your life).

1. Anything and Everything Tom Ford

Tom Ford is effortless, classic and sexy. Buy him a gift set like this and he will love how he smells almost as much as you do. You can even buy a mini bottle of his cologne as a stocking stuffer.

2. A Nice Bow Tie

Topman is just a really great brand all around and this modern style bow tie is the perfect addition to any macabre men’s closet. Add some aftershave and a leather backpack to the gift and you have the perfect little set.

3. Some Trendy Boxer Briefs

Because what man wouldn’t appreciate some trendy boxer briefs? These Topman ones are way too great.

4. A Leather Snapback

I don’t usually dig snapbacks, but I love this leather Topman one (see the pattern?) Have your man pair it with some fitted, cuffed, black jeans and a short sleeve black button up for ultimate macabre sexiness.

5. Shaving Supplies

Anthony Logistics Shave Cream 170gmAnthony Logistics For Men - Pre-Shave Oil

I thoroughly appreciate a great beard, but not every man can pull that off. Why not get your man some nice supplies to make his shave smooth and his face supple? Add some cologne and your man will be irresistable (and all yours).

6. A Leather Backpack

You can be casual and still look cool as hell.Every man needs a leather backpack, especially a Death King. Again, this lovely piece is Topman. Stuff it with antique versions of his favorite books and you have an ace gift.

7. A Cool Lil’ Polaroid Camera

Polaroid Z340 14MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom and Built-In Printer - Black These babes can get a bit pricey but I think they’re an awesome gift. You can get them from a bunch of different places and if you’re up for the challenge I’m sure you can find one from a garage sale/ thrift/ antique shop that still works. Buy this for your man, sneak in some photos of him and stick them in a little backpack you got him and you got another little gift. Boom.

8. A Record Player

Who wouldn’t love a record player, especially if it’s as cute as this mini Crosley one? Definitely a staple that can turn any abode into a special little home. Add a couple records and he will love you forever. Not to mention the fact records always make great gifts, you’ll always know what to get him.

9. Vintage Tie Clips

A little piece like a vintage tie clip can add a lot to a simple black tie. Pair one, or a couple, vintage tie clips in a little gift box with a skinny tie and bow tie and your man will be dapper as ever,

10. A Slick Black Watch

I grew up appreciating a nice men’s watch because of my fathers ever expansive collection. I love how modern an all black watch is; it’s still a classic, just with a edgy and sexy twist. Add a hint of gold or silver and your man will feel as sexy as he looks.

What are YOU planning on buying for your man this Holiday season?!

Cheers!
